Experience the House: REHAU® MONTANA ecosmart house Project

Telemedicine communications technology in ecosmart house

Telemedicine is "a rapidly developing application of clinical medicine where medical information is transferred through interactive audiovisual media for the purpose of consulting, and sometimes remote medical procedures or examinations."

We have been studying how telemedicine can be implemented in the ecosmart house to support the sustainability of not only only injury or disability, but to provide access to information regarding:
- health
- exercise
- nutrition & diet

Information of benefit to every family member of the ecosmart house.

From the house, family members can be connected to Deaconess Hospital in Bozeman, or any internet accessible health, exercise, nutrition, and diet resources on the internet.
